I am Gaius. He's Germanicus. And just a note here, a couple of minutes.

Germanicus and I submit everything to the first century

A.D. because we've lived it.

We were born into it.

I hope we're not going to die in it, but it happens.

And it's very secure thanks to Augustus.

But Augustus had a problem.

He had one child, Julia, and she was independent-minded.

And she and Augustus did not get along he married her to his friend Agrippa and they

had a good marriage five children I believe but it didn't come to anything

successful for an heir. So Augustus was obliged by his second or third wife to adopt Tiberius, who was an okay general when he was the younger man. But then, who knows, he

retired a Capri and was indifferent to the empire, allowed the Senate to run it, and a couple of dictatorial lieutenants to run it until they

revolted.

And he ended his life as he lived it on Capri, opaque, indifferent and very old.

Germanicus, we've jested about Joe Biden being Tiberius. However, that presentation

he made on debate night and the presentation he made in the interview with the ABC people.

Very Tiberious-like, don't you agree?

Very ghost-like.

Not quite here, not quite with us, not quite listening to what we're hearing.

There is no colligula, so he'll remain in Capri for as long as he wants.
