| 0:13.6 | that there are many exotic creatures and they'll all try to kill you if you let them. |
| 0:20.6 | In this instance, though, this is a story that requires some attention to why. |
| 0:26.6 | We're talking about a young woman who was bitten, probably by a venomous snake. |

| 0:36.6 | Well, miraculously, John, she was bitten by the snake, |
| 0:41.1 | and then despite being lost in the Australian wilderness, which is just about three hours |
| 0:45.8 | drive south of Sydney, so very, very rugged country, she continued to be lost for another four |
| 0:50.8 | days with a snake bite, harsh, harsh conditions, |
| 0:54.3 | extremely vulnerable to the wind, |
| 0:56.5 | to the hot desert temperature winds that were coming across the region at the time. |

| 1:02.7 | to be discovered by rescuers who managed to get to her hospital |
| 1:06.2 | and actually, she fully survived the whole incident. |
| 1:09.3 | But I think what the amazing part here, |
| 1:11.6 | John, is the fact that she got bitten by this snake about seven days into a ordeal where she |
| 1:16.7 | actually got lost in the basically Mount Cosiosco National Park, which is just south of Canberra. |
| 1:21.4 | But the fact that she got bitten by a snake managed to do everything right with first aid |
| 1:25.6 | and then survive four days after a venomous snake |
| 1:28.4 | bite and i have to say too the snake was called a copperhead so while it's not quite as venomous |
