2023, there are a lot of mice.

And because there are a lot of mice, that means snakes are eating well and reproducing.

This is normally, if I remember correctly, a time of year where the snakes have retreated

because it's cold.

They do still move around in the winter in the cold or months, traditionally here in Australia.

But normally what we see is that they retreat into the bushland.
