Jeremy, when we spoke last, a week passed, it was damp and cold and unusually wintry.

rains or from the south? Where do they come from? Good day to you.

You know, John, well these these are weird rains, I should say. They're definitely from the south and they are a very, if I can say this, a dry kind of rain.

And now let me explain.

Here in Sydney, normally what we get is when we get rain,

it's the typical rain comes through, there's a bit of humidity in the air, and it feels like it's going to rain.

So you have that dampness just to the natural atmosphere.

But what we're now getting here in Sydney

is a dry sort of brain.

So we get very, very cold, overnight temperatures

to minus 5 degrees Celsius, which is really around about 25 degrees Fahrenheit, and then we'll get this rain that comes through, but instead of fueling the humid conditions that we used to, it's instead very, very dry.

So it's actually quite disconcerting because normally you know

rain's coming here in southern Sydney because yeah it feels humid it feels like rain is coming

but what we're actually getting is very cold very dry temperatures that almost lower you into a false sense of security,
