I'm John Bachelor, and Jeremy is now walked us through the thinking that goes into a fire

season, beginning in springtime into summer, and the peak is January of February.

However, every day is a fire season if you're a humble creature of Australia.

Those fires move very quickly.

One creature, however, is not humble.

And that's the Magpie.

Jeremy has either a grandad or a papa grandad.

Magpie, who allows Jeremy to live nearby him.

Okay, that's how it works.

This Magpie has decided that Jeremy and his family are acceptable.

More to the point, this Magpie has decided that Jeremy's dog's toys are an entertainment.

Now Jeremy, send me a picture of the Magpie playing with your pup's toys.

There's a pup mind this.

This is the fantastic bit, John.

No, the pup actually loves to watch the Magpie.

And I've caught the two of them outside together where I have our dog Dallas just sitting

there on the patio happy.

The Magpie will just be sitting on the lawn or on the neighbor's fence just watching.

And he'll come down.

He'll just wander past Dallas.

Dallas won't try and run after him.
