I've learned a new cricket phrase. When somebody blames their tools like, you know, the AI made me do it it you say it's not the bat made what does that

mean Jeremy well John it basically means don't blame your tools blame yourself so

it's a phrase we get often when we were kids,

we say if we're complaining about,

oh, you know, especially correctly,

we're not having a good game because it was a,

you know, the ball was just not doing what we want,

or the bat was too heavy the

phrase would always be look son it's not the bat and it's basically inferring it is

you you're the problem deal with it but it works in all sorts of sorts of

situations so you can imagine say a trade

a carpenter is having a bad job and he blamed his

cause because the drills are not working a common phrase will be

look son it's not the bat just do your work and do it properly so it's a very

obvious phrase that works in all all situations outside of cricket as well.
