I'm John Batchel with Jeremy Zakis, New South Wales.

0:06.8

We're going to tell a snake story and then a really fun story about Valerie.

0:11.2

But snakes first.

0:13.0

Jeremy, the golf course.

0:14.6

Now, why would you play golf in Australia knowing that things like this happen?

0:19.3

What are they thinking, Jeremy?

0:23.6

I don't know, John. I don don't know but all i can suggest is that where this happened which is tuggara which is in the the central

1:10.3

maybe around that six-foot

1:11.9

mark. So this thing is actually a lot, lot bigger than anybody has ever seen. And not only was it

1:19.0

slithering on the golf course, it had actually come from what looks like a suburban area and was

1:24.1

moving quite quickly, which means it probably had just either eaten or it was on

1:28.2

its way to go hunting. So when this 10 to 12 foot monster slid across the open fairway there,
