Jeremy Zacchus of New South Wales is here to report on Australian news, chiefly

the climate, but also he is my cricket coach, and he's guided me through a very unusual run of events

from ashes last year in Australia in five different test cities,

to the ashes in England, to the World Cup in India,

and now the Australian team is home and doing very well but they're doing

very well in a heat wave. Now Jeremy does we talked last week about heat very much affecting a contest, a test, because they're out there

for hours with no cover especially.

They get to drink water now and again when they change sides, but it does wear down the visitors.

What I'm understanding from your communication is that Australia again?

Winning again.

Are you tired of winning it?

Winning again against the West Indies team in Adelaide, that's the South, and winning

very quickly. Is that unusual? Is West Indies a weak team in the

international circuit?

Well, actually it is very unusual. In fact, the West Indies is a very very strong

contender this year and it was very surprising too because what happened is the

West Indies are typically very well acclimatized to the hot temperatures

because they come from a very hot and humid region, the

Caribbean region and they tend to play in Pakistan and India before they actually come

across and play here. So normally they are climatizedized but what happened John this week was they

actually had it what we call a complete batting and bowling collapse in the first two days
