Well, there's only really one story to start with after this weekend,

and this is the story that English football has been plunged into,

in inverted commas, civil war.

After it was revealed that Football League Chairman Rick Parry,

in collaboration with Manchester United and Liverpool,

have come up with a proposal for radical changes to the game in this country.

It is a remarkable story, David. The headline on the Athletic says nuclear war. And it's important,

first of all, to actually recognise where this has come from because we don't want to take credit for someone else's work.
