Well, hello there. It's Morgan Harper-Nichols here and welcome to the show. Today's episode

0:06.6

is called Overwhelm and Curiosity. Two things that may at times feel unrelated. And however,

0:17.8

even when I try to intellectually connect them, like, oh, my overwhelm is something that I can be curious about, I struggle with what that looks like practically.

0:31.2

And this is why I love writing poetry and writing stories and creating art is because it creates room to explore

0:42.1

these various issues in our life that may be hard to put in a words or maybe hard to figure

0:50.3

out but just first creating room for them so I'm going to be reading a story that is about overwhelm.

1:58.9

So whatever your relationship is with that word, even if today

2:02.3

is a day where you're not feeling overwhelmed, one thing that I always like to think about is

2:06.8

even on the days where I'm fine, at least one of my neighbors is not. At least somebody that I

2:13.3

know has something going on. So with poetry and stories and art, it's my hope that these can not just
