I'm going to pass us on to Zayna because, girl, what is going on?

There's a lot going on in the news.

If you've been on social media, you've probably seen that Congresswoman Ilhan Hamad is currently being attacked by so many people, including our president, including major media publications for a video that surfaced.

And you can obviously see that the video has been edited to make it seem like she said something she didn't say she basically

what was taken out of context is that she said some people did something and she was referring to

9-11 but if you were just to take that little snippet it seems like she was just being like

just brushing it off exactly but you had to listen to the whole video.

And I think now more than ever we need to stand by her side and show her that what she's doing for Muslims and Arabs and every minority in America.

For people of color.

It's so worth it.

And I just have to applaud her for sticking to her morale and sticking to what she believes in

because I feel like so many people in our community would kind of like step back and be like,

oh, I shouldn't have said that I apologize.

We backtrack and we apologize far too often where it's become second nature.

But for her, I commend her.

She just stood her ground and she knows what she says and she knows what she's doing is not wrong.

And the president is trying to paint her into this horrible human being that's not patriotic.
