Hello and welcome to the Rotowire Fantasy Baseball podcast presented today by fan tracks.

I am joined today by my good buddy Ryan Boyer.

Today is March 9th Saturday.

We're going to be doing the over-unders again.

This time we are moving to the central divisions.

But there are a couple of quick headlines that we have to get into.

First big one, Ryan, is Noelvi Marte suspended 80 games for testing positive for a PED injury,

our PED injury.

Well, I guess it's an injury to something.

This is a big one because I think Marte was considered a fantasy sleeper by a lot of folks.

Sleeper may be even an understatement, a guy that was getting top 100

consideration in a lot of drafts after a strong showing for Cincinnati at the end of the year.

One of the top prospects in baseball, obviously, as a Mariner fan, I'm well familiar with him,

traded in the Luis Castillo Blockbuster. Maybe the Mariners did win that trade, Ryan.

But I'm very curious to your thoughts.

Is Noel Marte somebody that you're still drafting?

Or what are your expectations for him for the rest of 2024 now that you know it's going to be so short?

I don't know that you can use a redraft pick on him. It depends on the on the league.

I mean, if you board the sash, do any leaks have PED slips? I've never played in one.

I don't think so. But I mean, obviously if you have, like, super deep rosters and you can afford a station, then great.

But he's going to miss 80 games.

That puts, like, mid, late June.
