Henry Plummer is not a name that's often mentioned in the history of the West, though that's

not the case in the state of Montana, where Henry's story is legendary. But to this day,

that story is a series of contradictions, part-fact, and part-fabrication. For some,

Henry was an honest man who soldered through a life filled with bad luck and bad timing,

and who eventually tangled with treacherous men in their greed for money and power. For
