Right now, they're working downstairs. So that's good. i haven't heard anything a little while i'm hoping

during this podcast they don't come back up here and work on the bathroom but if they do we will go

forward from there but we're here today nick to talk about anything we missed in the last few days

since we last recorded when it comes to giants redency as we you know hang on the clock it, hang on the clock. It's what it feels like, dude, like every time I go out for, you know, without the computer, I'm like, I should have brought the computer. What happens if Aaron Rogers makes his decision. Ridiculous, this guy's holding us hostage. Same goes for Russell Wilson at this point. Though it does feel like, Nick, the Giants at least are being held hostage by Aaron Rogers. They haven't made a decision

to sign Russell Wilson. They haven't made a decision to sign Joe Flacco, despite the Giants bringing in

Joe Flacco on Thursday for a free agent visit. And then today, as a recording on Friday, Russell

Wilson is being brought in for a visit. But I don't think a contract is coming for either player

until Aaron Rogers

makes his decision. And so the Giants just have to wait for this guy to decide and why it's

taking him so long. That I don't know. He hasn't spoken or anything. I mean, that we all, I mean,

he's Aaron Rogers. He's going to be very thorough at this stage. Like, at this stage, like,

I know that's the idea that he does, but why? What are you gaining out of this? He needs not to wait for as far as team construction goes. These teams are what they're going to be, unless maybe if Minnesota is getting in on the mix for him. I don't know. But I looked at it, Nick. And from a contractual standpoint, I don't even really know how Minnesota could actually fit him into their picture. I think it will be Pittsburgh and the Giants. It's really just Pittsburgh and the Giants at this point. So they wait, both teams, and we move forward. But let's start with the quarterbacks here. And let's start with the decision Thursday to bring in Joe Flacco for a free agent visit. I didn't get your thoughts on that. We haven't talked any Flacco on this podcast in the last two weeks. What are your thoughts on this decision? And what is he 40 now? Joe Flacco, I'm pulling it up right at the moment, is 40 years old. Jesus Christ. The guys are the guys are going for right now are 40, 41, and 36. Yeah, I mean, this is what happens when you neglect to address the quarterback position despite taking many swings right now. Giants are not swinging shit, but now here they are holding a lot of shit and they're trying to get these elder quarterbacks. But honestly, dude, I look at Joe Flacco, bro, and I'm like, nice, Scott's Tots, love that. You like that. Joe Flacco could be that perfect number two quarterback to bring in here if the Giants do draft the Shreder Sanders and wind up with a Cam War, right? Like having that veteran, a Super Bowl champion, somebody who now is used to just traveling around the NFL. Dude, this guy spent three years with the Jets. Like I knew he was on the Jets, but he spent three years with the jets and I remember watching him being like oh like I don't what season was that 2020 I think when he came in and he kind of had a little bit of a run with the jets you're like Joe Flacko cool that was 2020 it's 2025 he almost retired after that it was like almost over for him he's like rebirthed himself for four more years out of nowhere. And had a, I wouldn't say a great season with the Browns, but a very surprising one, one people fantasy championships back in 2020. And then last year was respectable with the Colts, respectable enough to where they bench their former number four overall pick to start 40-year-old Joe Flacco.

But yeah, it's not exciting, but it's better than the quarterback options the Giants have had reason. That's just the, that's just how we are all operating. That's how I'm operating. I don't want to speak for other people, but it seems like a lot of us are just looking for some sort of competent leader to go into the locker room. And Joe Flacco fits that. But dude, I'm not going to sit here and get excited about Joe Flacco.

You know what I mean? No, I know what you mean. And worse here, Nick, as we transition for a second, I didn't have the right mic on. And now it's on. You can probably hear the difference. But we're going to move on from that. And as far as Flacco goes, Nick, I'll say this.

no visit yet for James Winston, despite Justina Anderson reporting that the Giants have interest in him,

we don't know if that's true or not.
