Our nation is in crisis. It is not a constitutional crisis because the law, the Constitution is whatever the people in charge say it is.

What we have right now is a legal coup. Some good news, however, early Saturday morning the Supreme Court temporarily blocked Trump's invocation of the Alien

Enemies Act that he used to justify deporting Venezuelan gang members of that prison in El Salvador.

Immediately after, Trump's Solicitor General, DeJohn Sauer, filed a 17-page motion asking the

Supreme Court to reverse its order. The Supreme Court

must decide on that. But now, the Washington Post reporting, Donald Trump on Sunday might

invoke the Insurrection Act. Yes, the man who led an insurrection could invoke the insurrection,

granting him almost unlimited emergency powers to put down an imaginary rebellion along our

southern border. He can do it without congressional approval, without congressional oversight. It would grant the

president powers to call in the National Guard and our military to calm a national uprising

of what he calls illegal immigrants.

Border crossings are now at a 10-year low.

You might remember that on his very first day in office,

Trump, his first day back in office, January 20th of this year,

Trump signed an executive order calling the imaginary border crisis a national emergency.

And then, on that same day in his executive order, demanded that the head of Homeland Security and our Pentagon chief report back to Trump in 90 days on whether they think he should invoke the Insurrection Act

to tamp down this imaginary emergency at the border.

Well, Sunday is April 20th, I believe, yes,

and that would be the 90th day he's been in office, that 90-day

deadline is up. Christy Noem, our free-thinking, independent head of Homeland Security,

and our alcoholic defense chief, Pete Hexeth, have to make their recommendations on Sunday.

Sometime on Sunday, HECSeth and Nome will tender their recommendations as to whether they believe
