Summary

Sonja Christopher made history when she was the first person to ever be voted off of Survivor in 2000. In so many ways she was a trailblazer in her life. Liz Wilcox posted to twitter that Sonja had passed away on April 26th, 2024
Rob Cesternino and Josh Wigler got together to pay tribute to this Survivor pioneer and bring you an encore of Josh Wigler’s 2017 interview with Sonja. Josh spoke to Sonja as part of the FIRST ONE OUT podcast series that he created to preview Season 35 of Survivor.
According to Liz, Sonja’s family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations could be sent to Mt. Diablo Unitarian Universalist Church (Walnut Creek, CA), the Cancer Support Community of the San Francisco Bay Area, or the Sjogren’s Foundation.

No flowers, but donations may be sent to Mt. Diablo Unitarian Universalist Church (Walnut Creek, CA), the Cancer Support Community of the San Francisco Bay Area, or the Sjogren’s Foundation.
