I have a confession to make. I hope that after all the years we've spent together we can call this a safe space here on young heretics because I must inform you all that I, your friendly neighborhood host, in my opinion, really, really cool. I will be teaching a course this year, this fall semester at

New College, Florida, and it's available, it's an online course, and it's available to people that are not enrolled.

You don't have to be a student at New College in order to take this course.

It's a survey course on Greek literature, so beginning with the Odyssey and the Iliad and then moving forward through the tragedies all the stuff that we've been talking about for the last who knows how many weeks on the show if you would like an opportunity to get some one-on-one or rather not one-on-one because there will be multiple

students and it is a seminar class but some face time with me and chat about it, talk about it in a college level course setting.

You young heretics listeners are invited to be in this course.

It's a pretty quick turnaround because we start on August 26th,

and we'll go on Mondays and Fridays in the afternoons all the

details can be found at a link which I will drop in the description of this show

it's NCF.

than those in state.

But I think it would be awesome if some young heretics

listeners wanted to join me.

It's going to be a whole semester of talking about the Greeks,

reading the Greeks together.

I'll send out a syllabus and we'll do that

course. I would love to have you join and I think it would be really fun if we had

some people from outside the college as well. There are people that are

signed up that are taking this class for college credit,

but if you want to take it as a supplement
