From the center of the galaxy, this, my friends, is a 4th Center podcast feed in its time for

another edition of Star Wars Ranked. Me and a guest rankin' things in Star Wars, and we

just kind of stumbled into a new Star Wars Ranked series. Yes, I'll answer your questions right now.

We're going to do all the pictures, all the movies put out into the Star Wars world. We today

are rankin' the best lines in Empire Strikes Back. Of course, last time out, we ranked the best

lines in a new hope. Check that one out if you haven't. Well, Joseph, I'm going to determine

off-air the best way to do it. I think it might release order, just we might have stumbled into that

by default, but here he is, Joseph Scribshaw, to help me take a look at Empire Strikes Back.

I am very excited to be here and talk Empire Strikes Back, and I admit when we talked about

doing this, I really did want to start with a new hope and see how it went and see if we enjoyed

it, see if listeners enjoyed it and see if we wanted to continue it, but I wanted to start with a new

hope because so much of Star Wars storytelling builds from that, right? Even with Lucas' fascination

with quoting and moving quotes around in that, so it's really fun to start with a new hope,

see what that style of writing is, see what that style of dialogue is, and then see how it grows

and changes over the years. And it is going to grow and change in leaps and bounds with episode

five Empire Strikes Back. Castin comes on board, taken the script over after the passing of Lee

Brackett and the stuff Lucas and Kirschner were put out there and good old Larry Castin,

and he knows how to bring out a typewriter and maybe an early word processor during the 80s,

and write a good picture here. So we're going to get to that in a second, but I want to remind you,
