episode we're going to be talking about our favorite pieces of entertainment of

2019 so far. My name is Ben Pearson I'm the senior writer at slash film managing editor Jacob Hall.

Hey everyone.

So guys, the news is just a barren wasteland.

There's nothing out there really worth talking about, so I threw out the idea to the group, or the prompt to the group to try to come up with ideas for what we should talk about today.

And Jacob, you came up with the idea to discuss our favorite pieces of entertainment of 2019 so far.

Do you want to give some parameters about, you know, what we're going to be talking about?

Yeah, every June slash film staff does a list of our top 10 favorite movies of the year so far and it's always

button to see how that changes by the end of the year.

But since today is the post Memorial Day holiday hangover where no news is happening,

we decided we'll you know maybe prime that a little bit. We'll talk about our favorite movies but also some of our favorite TV and maybe something else beyond film and TV based on the list of things I'm looking at.

So this is just a sort of a list of

the last-list-to-list-to-list-to-

slash films catch up with these before the back half 2019 list?

Yeah, I think that's fair to say.

So I think what we're going to do is all of us have three options and then three runners up.

I think maybe what we should do is we'll cycle through it where each of us talks about one of our three options in a, you know, one after the other, and then when we're all done counting down those three, each of us will talk about all three of our runners up at once.

So let's kick it off with Jacob. What is your first thing on your list?

My first thing is the absolute best thing I've seen in 2019 so far and I can
