Hi everyone, welcome back to Baton Paper Podcast. I'm Becca Freeman. And I'm Olivia

0:22.2

Mentor. And today we are talking about nostalgic reads that we read when we were kids and teenagers.

0:28.9

And we have lots of listener voice mails with what you read when you were a kid or a teenager.

0:33.8

Yeah, I loved hearing all of these voice mails and I love thinking about this topic lately a lot,

0:40.2

as I mentioned last week, so I think it's going to be good.

0:42.9

It's so interesting too because I was talking to my friend Ali last night who I'm on this trip

0:47.1

with right now. And the books that she said were most important to her in childhood, I never

0:53.4

heard of. So it's so interesting to hear the different things that people are into and

0:58.5

then to see which ones are the ones that are universal too. Yeah, there were so many that I had never heard of that all.

1:04.6

I know. So yeah. Before we get into it, should we do some highs and lows?

1:09.3

1:29.0

I have no idea how it's not more mainstream. It is the absolute prettiest place I have ever been.

1:36.0

Like it is just so pretty. The whole thing like part of it kind of looks like Santorini with like the white buildings

1:42.6

and like a little village setup. And then there's just like so much natural beauty.

1:46.5

It's on a cliff side and there's this like huge historic bridge. And even just looking at the buildings built on top of this gigantic

1:53.6

face is so incredible. My jaw was on the floor the whole time we were there. I'm ready to be called up. I'm a Ronda enthusiast and I'm ready.

2:03.5

I'm ready to offer my services as a Ronda spokesperson. It looked magical. Like totally different than anywhere I'd seen before.

2:11.7

This is me observing your Instagram post. So clearly, yes, I'm endorsing you for honorary citizen promoter of Ronda.

2:20.5

Oh my God. But it looked magical. Does that job exist? Sign me up. I think it does.

2:25.2

The other thing that was so wild about this place is when you go to somewhere that's a small town like this,

2:31.5

you kind of expect the food to be mediocre or you expect there to be one or two good restaurants.
