So the Giants were fun yesterday. James Winston was fun. The offense was fun. But in the end, it's the same result. Another loss, this one in overtime. Gibbs has had himself a Gibbs-like day. He's in one back set. Hand-off for Gibbs. Gibbs up the middle. Gibbs on the run. Gibbs across midfield. Gibbs is going to go all the way for the touchdown. 69 yards on the first play of overtime. Yeah, that's Bob Popper here on the fan. Al had a big problem with Dane Belton on this play until he saw a replay. He's like, hey, it looked like he should have been, he's like, who's this 24 on the Giants? Never heard of him. I either look him up. He felt he should have been able to at least give a courtesy dive there. No, not even close. Gids is like a freaking, he is like a four-three guy. Yes. The initial angle we get on TV, he looks like he's running right with him. But on that second angle where they show you what it's like from the running banks perspective, he's nowhere near him. You know, it was amazing. Think about this. So when Gibbs was a freshman at Alabama, the guy that loved him, I mean, I said, this guy

is going to be the next great running back was Bill Cowher.

And he kept talking about Jemir Gibbs, like that whole season.

And then, of course, this kid has turned in to be like, you know,

just shot out of a cannon blistering running back.

And everybody knew B. John Robinson was going to be great.

But this guy was like under the radar.

And then when I'll never forget what Detroit took him,

people thought they were crazy for taking him at number 14.

Yeah, because that was one of those like running backs.

We could get them at any point.

Exactly.

And they signed David Montgomery away from the Bears.

And on there for the Bears guys were like, why are we looting Montgomery?

To a division rival.

Exactly.

So they have a really nice complimentary set of backs there in

detroit and it's one of the reasons why and by the way has anybody come up with the answer i

saw carl banks uh complaint about this after the game which i think he's 100 percent i also heard

them talking about it on the the broadcast why was it dexter law Lawrence on the field at the beginning of overtime?

Yeah, this was a big thing after the game. Apparently he was nicked up, which both he and Mike
