I got to have a change in scene, because every night I have the string, just strings.

Every year, probably our most popular show is our adoption special. And most of you know that we're

adoptive parents, and adoption is very important to me, and I believe that it is a ministry. It is a big

part of solving the problems in this country. And anyone who knows me personally who says, you know,

thank you for adopting or, you know, your kids will know that my immediate response is I'm not a

hero. I'm not even a selfless person. I'm a selfish person. We adopted because it brought us great

joy. I would not be the person I am today without adoption. Adoption is the most selfish thing you

can do because you're going to find so much joy, happiness, purpose, fulfillment, and meaning out of

being an adoptive parent. Children are not, you know, something to be tossed around or picked up

off a shelf there. They bring you great joy. They bring you great happiness and fulfillment. So this,

this issue of adoption, as we've been talking about already, this particular case is yet another

example. It's very important to me, and it should be very important to all of us. It should be very

important because of the message, this particular case, some of you've seen it on Fox News, um,

exposes the case of Jessica Bates, widowed mother of five, living in Eastern Oregon, so a hello to

our listeners on Kex 1190. She wanted to provide a stable and safe home for children because of her

Christian beliefs, the state denied her the ability to move forward in the adoption process.

Folks, I've told you again and again and again and again. In addition to candidates

and political parties, you've got to fund the people who bring the cases because these cases are

how you turn things around. You can't just win back your legislative bodies and your executive branches.

As a former lawyer, I will tell you, if you really want to bring change in this country,
