And we're going to get into housing and some of the potential downfalls or

dangers of mainstream homes and then what you can do instead to make a more sustainable

and healthier homes so welcome to the show thank you Evan glad to be here yeah so i found

you by looking around online i don't know how i came across the

site i think i was looking for uh information on how to reduce emf inside the home and then i may

have found your all's website but right do you want to talk a little bit about what you do you're a building

biologists right sure let me give an introduction to our profession and to our work to you and to your listeners.

Basically, the building biology profession came into being literally after the destruction

of the housing stock in Germany after World War II.

So a group of architects and builders there and physicians and people who are sensitive

to the toxic influences from homes got together and founded this profession called Baulagi.

So the German word Ba'u, BAU, BAU, is translated into English as building or home. And Biolologi is their German pronunciation of our word biology.

So these are individuals who were having difficulty with the toxic materials and the mold-producing
