It's like that really good party that you didn't know was going to happen,

It was a fantastic evening with a great experience to hear so many different writers I've

never heard of before.

Hardly seems possible that they're talking about books.

And after our recent addings to the literary salon of 50s Dublin and the windy wilds of the

Yorkshire Moors were back in the heart of the metropolis

at the newly revamped Foils Bookshop on Taring Cross Road for a special programme on a growing phenomenon, live literature.

Big name author events, of course, have always drawn the crowds, but there's been a real surge of something more grassroots recently. Literary
