2:05.0	Reverend Bill Cook is the founder of America's Black Robe Regiment, a national association of patriotic pastors trying to secure the blessings of American liberty for our descendants through involvement in local government.

2:21.0	The Black Robe Regiment has chapters in 12 states and hopes to be in all 50 by next year, very ambitious.

2:32.0	Great to be with you. Thank you. Of course, you know, it's worth mentioning that the American Revolution was purely a religious uprising against the crown.
2:40.0	Famous secularists like Thomas Payne were adamant that the revolution was more akin to the Jacobin uprising France ended up seeing a few years later.
2:49.0	So from where we sit, given the results of the American Revolution, it's hard to argue that Payne was wrong and that America was truly a Christian nation.
2:55.0	So how will this version of the Black Robe Regiment differ from what we've seen in history? Will it be more overtly religious? Will we cave to bogus claims about the separation of church and state?
