So our listeners will remember that when he came in after Liz Truss's chaotic 49 days, he set out five pledges for 2023 in his New Year speech.

And these were to have inflation, grow the economy, reduce debt, cut NHS waiting times and stop the small boat crossings.

And he actually asked the public to hold him accountable for this.

He said they're on me personally.
