This is from a video posted on the official White House X account on Tuesday. The description reads,

ASMR, illegal alien deportation flight. If you're not familiar with ASMR videos, they usually

just show certain objects being gently scraped or crinkled or people whispering really softly

like this. They're made to trigger a pleasant tingling sensation.

The sounds in this video, though, are of long metal shackles being prepared,

migrants cuffed at the hands and ankles,

being led up the stairs of a plane as they prepare to leave the U.S. for perhaps the final time.

The callous post was not a one-off, though. On Valentine's Day, the White House blanketed its

social media accounts with a pink card featuring President Donald Trump and his boarderzor, Tom

Holman, alongside the phrase, roses are red, violets are blue, come here illegally and we'll deport you.

Trump's critics say the cruelty on display here is the point. And so are the very public immigration

and customs enforcement raids

we've seen play out in cities across the country.

ICE announcing that federal agents are in the city of Chicago,

that they are enforcing actions against individuals

who have criminal backgrounds. I opened the curtain and saw that it said police.
