Today is a solemn and sad day. For the third time and a little over a century and a half,

the House Judiciary Committee has voted articles of impeachment against

the president for abuse of power and obstruction of Congress. The House will act expeditiously.

I get the sense of the big historic moment, and yet because of the way our

modern politics are and the way it plays out, there's something less than dramatic about it

It's anti-climactic and climactic at the same time.
