I read a book many years ago about a monk. His name was Brother Lawrence. It so captivated me.

I couldn't put it down. The monk's job was dishwasher. That's his full-time job.

But in this lowly job, he developed such intimacy with God that royalty wanted to be in his presence.

He literally lived in what the Bible refers to as the secret place 24-7.

He radiated the presence of God.

Then I finished the book and I was very, very disappointed. He didn't tell me how to get into the presence of God.

He didn't tell me how to get into the secret place.
