In fact, some days I would wake up and think I'd already written a book and realize, no, no, it's only written in my head. And the genesis of it was that I would come home from work every day and say to my husband, you will never believe what happened today. And when it kept going on and on for months, he said, you better go in the other room and start writing things down because as much as you think you're going to remember things, you don't. And it got to the point where I could just write two or three sentences down, and then I would remember the entire scenario. So I had been a vet for |
