If you have a Bible, which you may not because of the circumstances, let's go to Romans, chapter 3.

I'm staying with Romans 3, 27 to 31, one more Sunday because the relevance of it for what we're doing this morning

is so amazing.

And so it won't be hard for you to see why I chose to linger here one more Sunday on this text as we make our way through Romans.

If you're visiting with us and you wonder what we're doing in the messages on Sunday morning,

we're making our way through the book of Romans and we've been

doing this now for a little over a year and we're at the end of chapter 3 and I'm going to read

Romans 3, 27 to 31. Where then is boasting? It is excluded by what kind of law of works? No, but by the law of faith.

For we maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from works of the law, or is God the God of the Jews only?

Is he not the God of the Gentiles or the nations also?

Yes, of the Gentiles also, since indeed God, who will justify the circumcised by faith and

the uncircumcised through faith is one. Do we then nullify the law through faith?

May it never be? On the contrary, we establish the law.

Father, as we undertake once more to look at these verses and apply them to what we're about in this praise march this morning,

I ask you to draw near, I ask you just like this wind is beautifully and comfortably blowing

over us to blow by your Holy Spirit across our hearts and may your words sink in and take root.

May people be drawn to faith in Jesus Christ this morning

by the lyrics of the songs and the prayers that are prayed and the preaching that is preached and so may

Christ be exalted in our midst.

I pray for your help that I might unfold these words faithfully and I pray that you would assemble now everything that needs

to be put together in these next moments so that when we go to the streets in about

an hour we will be ready in body and spirit soul mind in every way in Jesus name I pray
