Not a week has gone past in my sister's life where she hasn't tried to commit suicide.

She said in the day she came to your spiritual health day, she had determined that she was going to ask God for forgiveness for what she was about to do.

She said, but she came home and she didn't commit suicide.

And I just want to ask you a question Nancy what on earth

has happened to my sister.

Nancy Gowdy. Welcome, Nancy. Thank you, Simon. It's wonderful to be with you. Yeah, great to have you. So you're director of New Generation Music. That's NGM. You spent 40 plus years doing that with your wonderful husband, Ray. I think I spoke at your place about 20 years ago's not too far. I'm in Bath, so you're sort of Bristol Way in Thornbury. That was where it was. You started a band with Ray called Heartbeat. We had on Trish a few months ago. Trish now Morgan. She was McGuire. She was in your band. Malcolm Trish has run the church I'm part of here now. Dave Bankhead was in your band and

we've done stuff together out in Burundah. He's a lovely man. So there's lots of connections there.

But let's go back to the beginning, Nancy. Yeah, I mean, I know just age six, wasn't it, when you first

encountered Jesus. Tell us about that. Oh, and that was amazing. I was brought up in a family who loved Jesus,

and they taught me to speak to him and expect him to speak back to me. And I remember at one point,

I thought, I need to give my life to Jesus. So I asked my dad, can I give my life to the Lord?
