author of the Mechanism of the

author of the Mechanism of the Heavens, Connection of the Physical Sciences,

etc.

Written in two volumes with illustrations, published by John Murray, Abemar Street, London,

1869. Let's begin with Volume 1.

prominent discoveries in the life and structure of the

lower vegetable and marine animals, in addition to a few of those regarding inert matter.
