Today on the Grave Talks, we continue our conversation about the Leibold Mansion with

owner Joseph Tattner.

I recently had the pleasure of taking a private tour of the Leibold

Mansion in Abilene, Kansas. I went to the top of the tower down to the

original dugout the tower is built on and that dugout was built by

Abilene's founders Tim and Eliza Hersi. It was their original home. After my

tour we sat down and talked about paranormal activity.

This is incredible.

The woodwork, the staircase here is just something. Soakin for a week till it became like a wet noodle and then they would just shape it.

Now there used to be a door here.

This is the main's quarters.

You'll notice there's no parquet floor. There's parquet floor in all the public areas, but it's still a very nice

original wood pattern.

So this would have been the maids room.
