Summary

It's hard to believe it's been four years since my first national bestselling book On Fire hit bookshelves. Since then, it's sold more 200,000 copies, been translated into more than a dozen languages and touched, impacted + elevated lives across the world... but it's individual stories of impact that ignite me the most.

To celebrate, I want to share two stories On Fire has blessed me with in the last four years. The first being one of the countless experiences that dramatically touched me and the second being a question I am frequently asked about the many stories featured in the book.

I hope that today's episode will remind you of the gift and liberating freedom of unconditional love.

0:39.5	Yeah, that's right. Where were you living? Who were you working with? Who were you hanging out with?
0:44.0	What kind of life were you leading at that point? 14 years ago, it's been a while, right?
0:48.4	Well, for me, I was looking down with great excitement at all the responses that would be coming back my way because
0:54.8	I just sent out 14 proposals for a new book. It was my first book. It was a book that would be the
1:01.5	predecessor to On Fire, a book many of you have read and heard of. I sent it out to 14 publishing
1:08.3	companies and then waited and then waited and then waited and then waited and my friends
1:15.7	I kept waiting a few of the companies got back to me some called some wrote some emailed all had the
1:20.9	exact same saying though they just weren't interested in this unknown author this unknown speaker
1:26.7	this unproven topic and And so they either flat out
1:30.0	rejected me or maybe more painfully, they ignored me. They ignored me. Well, time passed. I reflected
1:37.4	and prayed and journaled, had some more experiences, kept taking notes as we journeyed through life.
1:43.5	I met a guy named Tommy Spalding in Colorado who
1:46.0	connected me to a gentleman out of New York named Michael Palagon. And with Michael's help and the
1:51.8	assistance of my team, we created a new manuscript called On Fire. The Seven Choices to Ignite a
