If you will probably remember a segment we used to do called on a personal note.

It is, I'll just admit it. It's a joy of my heart that people still love that segment.

We do it on the weekend show on Radio America, Complete with the music. We're not allowed to play

in this podcast. We're not allowed to play Main Street, which opens it, and check it out, which

ends it. There's just no way to get music licensing

that makes any sense for podcasts.

I guess I could have some music made for it.

We've stopped doing that on the podcast and I'll tell you why.

It's because so much of the podcast is personal, far more than I thought it would be

when I made the decision to put God at the center of this

cast and more and more as I was warned I find it very difficult to speak about anything but God's word. It's another reason.

But today, courtesy of a couple of really key partners to this program. So limited in terms of partner

announcements. I want to just wrap up the year with a couple of personal notes

after the fashion of our segment called on a personal

note also tell you how that segment came about and how it became the most

listened to segment of our show, which is not common.

It was the last segment of the third hour

of first and afternoon drive show and then a morning show.

And I was warned continuously for the first six months.

You need to be really careful about that segment. That's just, you know, you got to leave people wanting more. That's that's I know you like telling stories, but that's that's not conservative radio.
