This is kind of a breaking story that's happened today.

This is a Norwegian biathlete, and I'm going to totally botch his name, but who cares?

We'll give it a shot here.

Sterla Holm Legrid took home the bronze medal just this morning in the men's 200-kilometer

individual biathlon race today.

And so typically we see these when they're on, you know, they're skiing and they're at the bottom of the hill and they just finish. And there are the reporters. We want to get your initial reaction. And so what does he do? He starts talking about how six months ago met the love of his life, the most beautiful woman in the world, but I have to admit my mistakes and I cheated on

her.

And all of a sudden, he turns the post-race interview into like a therapy session.

Like he's talking with his therapist and laying on the couch and starts admitting that he cheated

on his girlfriend.

but we'll give it a shot here to give you an idea of it.

So he just basically is talking to this interviewerer and you kind of see the look on the interviewer's face is like what are you doing what are we doing here man i thought i just i just wanted to talk to you about winning the bronze medal and you're telling me about how you cheated on your girlfriend what that you tell me you cheated on your taxes what else you know you you cheat on this race? Do you do you dine and dash? You go to a restaurant, skip out before paying the bill. You see some garbage laying on the ground in the living room. You just kick it under the couch for somebody else. It's like the biggest moment of your life. He was just struck with guilt. He wanted to celebrate with somebody. She wasn't there. And he said, well, you know what? It's because I cheated on her.

He was probably just full of emotion and just spilled it all. Let it all come out. Actually, he wraps up the interview. It's kind of interesting because when I read this whole article and saw the transcript of the interview, you know, your first impression is, this guy's out of his mind. What the heck's he doing? But he actually wraps it up in a good way. He goes on to say that, look, I wanted to be a good role model, and that means admitting when I make mistakes. Oh, wow. Okay. So you've got to have a little bit of love for him on that. That's a strong point to stand on. maybe not at the bottom of the hill right after your Olympic race.
