I thought our tradition was to just jump into the middle of a conversation that the audience has no idea. Yeah, no, exactly. that's what I would ask you again. I want to get back into it about that review.

There was a, I don't know if you saw this review today, lucky of the new Toddfield film, Tar.

No, I haven't. I don't. I'm a telegraph. It's just jaw dropping. I was at a corn maze with my five-year-old.

Ah, it's a complete pan.

But like the highlights are at one point, the critic complains that she leaned over to her friend.

And she goes, I have no idea where this movie's going.

This is one of the reasons it's terrible.

And then at another point, she complains, why is it about this awful woman who's complicated and dark?

Why couldn't they have made a movie about a woman who's navigating the difficult path towards success as a woman in the modern day world?

Yeah, but that's the great thing about critics.

They review the movie they want to have seen, not the one you know.

But I've been going to do that the last couple weeks. I've actually, the worst one I ever saw

was years ago was a critic who I sort of knew a little bit. His review of Speed Racer included,

and this was in a real outlet, he couldn't understand why the studio had gone to the

Washowski's when he had the perfect take on this film and it even started the script years ago.
