An entitled old jerk tries to get me evicted after I refuse to join his homeowner's association.

But after dealing with this guy trespassing on my property, as well as all the other sketchy things

that he's done to me, I decided to show up to one of his meetings and completely humiliate him

in a way that I don't think he will ever forget. And I've truly never felt better about getting

back at somebody in my life.

Here's what happened. Okay, so my parents had this rental property that they passed on to me when they

passed away, and the house has been there since before the neighborhood next to it was even built,

meaning that it's not a part of the HOA. It's been established several times with the previous

renters and my parents. While we were renovating to prepare

to move in, we installed gates at the three entrances to the property because we didn't want people

to come into our property. Well, a month after we finished, we had a visit from this one entitled

person who opened our back gate since the front one is locked just to give us a packet that said

welcome to the HOA. But I told him that

we are not part of the neighborhood, so the HOA doesn't apply to our property. Well, this entitled jerk

then got pissed off and said that I am since his property is right next door. I then nicely repeated

myself, and I asked him to not come into my property ever again without my permission. He then let out a scoff and said that he didn't see any no trespassing sign so he could do

whatever he wanted. But thankfully, he eventually left. The next day, we installed locks on the gates

and we put up a no trespassing sign. But the next thing we know, we're getting HOA violation

letters in our mailbox. The letters also listed things that were happening in our backyard that someone could see if they were looking over the fence.

After the fifth notice that threatened eviction, I called the number listed and I explained to a lady the situation that was going on,

and she said that the HOA president said that we were part of the HOA and that he was the one reporting us. She then said that all we

had to do was prove that we weren't part of the HOA and then they would waive the fees and leave us
