In honor of the holidays, tonight we're continuing the work we began last year. Old Christmas, from the Sketch Book of Washington Irving, published by Macmillanin Co, London, 1886.

When we last left this book, our narrator had just fallen asleep on Christmas Eve.

When I awoke the next morning,
