I'm Mama Jules, and today, let's get right to it.

Have you been following the spiritual delusion story out of Ohio? I have, and this is a

wild one that has left a mother in the hospital for mental health care, a father murdered,

and a young son offered up as a sacrifice as a, quote, gift to God. Now before I tell you about

the murders, let's first learn about the Amish community in

Ohio, reportedly the second largest community of Amish with an estimated 84,000 members. But it's not

just the 84,000. Holmes County in Ohio has half of those members of the community in that county alone. Holmes County has so

many Amish members that it's turned into a tourist attraction in the area. Tourism is the driving

economy in Holmes County and the Amish are so prevalent that one of the public schools has a population

that is entirely 100% Amish. The area has a weekly

Amish newspaper, one of the primary media sources, and they have a non-profit fund that assists

young couples in purchasing their first home. So reporting back in 2010 said that that fund held $80 million, which the fund seems to be working

because the loans provided have never had a foreclosure.

Now in this area, you can still see the traditional horse and buggy as a form of transportation,

as well as horse-drawn farm equipment.

Now, with this as a backdrop, let's find out what happened on August 23rd, outside a restaurant

at the busy Atwood Lake Park and Campground. The area was loaded with tourists, camper trailers,

and tents, all making the most of the last summer weekends.
