Number one, the new strikes. U.S. forces carried out what they describe as new self-defense

strikes on Iranian targets overnight. Suncom says that they hit radar and commanding

control sites after they say Iran shot down an American drone.

Iranian State TV released video of missile launches overnight, though CNN cannot independently confirm when or where this video is actually from.

They also claim to have targeted a U.S. air base in the region.

The renewed attacks come as talks over a possible framework to get to an actual eventual

peace deal continue, but with no breakthrough so far.

On that, President Trump was up late Sunday night posting about it that, quote, Iran

really wants to make a deal, but also complaining this, that it is much tougher for me

to properly do my job and negotiate

when the political hacks keep negatively chirping at levels never seen before

he also said that I should move faster or move slower or go to war or not go to

war or whatever just sit back and relax it will all work out well in the end.

So there you have it.

Regardless, the two sides reportedly continue to trade messages and propose changes to set framework.

Number two, the curfew.

There were more clashes overnight outside a New Jersey ICE detention center.

A crowd demonstrating against the conditions inside the facility stayed past a newly implemented nightly curfew, which then sent tensions flaring anew.

The state's attorney general says that police started warning 45 minutes ahead of the curfew

taking effect that protesters needed to leave Delaney Hall. Back up! Back up! You are pressed!
