and we're just going to jump in today's devotional. Yes, you guys. Let's jump into it. Today's

devotional is titled power in purity. And we're reading out of Joshua 3.5. It says,

then Joshua told the people, purify yourselves for tomorrow the Lord will do great wonders among you.

The love letter from God, beloved child, I want to show you my power through great wonders. I have

called you to purify yourself so that you can know me in extraordinary ways. I want to display

my glory to you, but you need to let go of the things that hurt our relationship. Guard your heart

and mind so that you can remain pure in every area of your life. I want you to hear my voice

clearly. The world has no pleasure to offer it that can match the joy of walking with a pure heart

and mind. Allow me to show you what areas I want to purify so I can do wonders for you and

through you. Love your Heavenly Father. The reflection says, there is power in purity. The best

way to get closer to God is to remove all the impurities that cloud your vision and keep you

from seeing Him. Filling our minds with the things of this world will inhibit our relationship with

the treasure of truth. There is power and perfect peace and purity for those who choose it.

Well, I am. I have a weird analogy for you. I'm ready. Hopefully everyone who's listening can

keep up with this. I know it's kind of a weird one, but have you ever seen those videos on YouTube

or Instagram or wherever where a dog has done something bad? Like maybe the owner is coming home

for my work or whatever and then the whole couch is tore up or the trash is everywhere and then

they're filming it and it goes to the dog who's hiding in the corner. They're like cowering

in shame or guilt. Because they know they did something they shouldn't have done. They know

their owner is going to be upset. It's just like I know that feeling because I've felt it so
