Hey everybody, I'm Wesley Morris and Jenna Wortham is still gone.

Who knows where she is, but you know where you are.

This is still process it.

And I cannot say it the way Jenna says it.

And you'll just have to forgive me for that.

I'm not Jenna. You understand that.

She's in Africa. We're gonna call her later.

But in the meantime, she and I talked about who we could have host the show.

We were like, Oprah, she's like, no, Earl sweatshirt.

Not really. Salange, she said, don't play with me boy.

And so we finally agreed that the person who would be fun to do the show with in Jenna's absence

is the one and only Alex Papademis.

Alex and I used to host do like Prince movies together on the Grantland Network.

Now Alex is at MTV and he's got his own podcast with Molly Lambert, who I love.

It's called North Molly Wood. That show is really fun.

It's it's like kind of what we do, but from California and it's it's really great.

It makes me miss him. It makes me miss that state.

But he's gonna be talking to me about the presidential medal of freedom ceremony that happened

last week. Obama has given away 114 of these things in this time in the White House.

He gave away 21 more last week. It's crazy that people gave it to.

It's like he's like a going out of business sale.

And then we're gonna talk about the weekend.
