I found out how much less I was getting paid than my white co-stars on all of my projects.

All of my projects.

Like, I knew there was gonna be a gap, right?

Like, I'm not an idiot.

Like, I wasn't expecting.

But, like, truly for the same job on the same project with similar experience, like,

massive difference, which just makes it like the systemic thing.

We're like, oh, now those actors have more money on their bank,

which means they can be more selective about role roles, they say.

Right.

Whereas, like, we have, I have less money in my bank,

which means I am much more pressured to take the nerdy best Asian friend again,

because it's gonna pay my bills for the next six months, right?
