A coalition unlike any that we have seen, certainly in modern American history, has come together to defeat Donald Trump.

This is a coalition that may disagree on some things, but we're bound together as we work to elect Vice President

Kamala Harris.

The coalition backing Kamala Harris is diverse enough to include Liz Cheney and

Barack Obama. The former president is set to take the stage any moment now in

Pittsburgh and we will bring that to you live.

Meanwhile, Trump has a new excuse for dodging another debate

and it might be the most ridiculous one he's had yet.

Good evening, I'm Jason Johnson and for Joy Reed. It's been nearly 24 hours

since Hurricane Milton slammed Florida, leaving an absolutely deadly trail of destruction.

At least 12 people have died and millions are still without power, as major flooding, strong

winds, and even tornadoes left widespread damage and devastation

up and down the coast.

Just take a look at Tropicana Field and St. Petersburg, where the roof almost completely shredded off.

It all comes, of course, against the backdrop of the presidential race, with just 26 days

to go until election day.
