As you know, members of the men's U.S. Olympic gold medal winning hockey team attended the State of the Union Address by invitation from President Trump.

And that's a good thing. It's not about President

Trump. It's about the Office of the Presidency. So if you're invited, you go. Now, Barack Obama

invited me a number of times. I always went. Okay? Bush the younger invited me, I went. Joe Biden never invited me.

And it's his loss. And Donald Trump, of course, I have a personal relationship, so I've

been there many times. Now, the men's team was unabashedly, good word, patriotic.

And I think conducted themselves as well as any athletic team I've ever seen.

The women's gold medal winning Olympic hockey team will be different.

So there was a joke made by President Trump after the Americans defeated the Canadians

in the men's locker room.

He said, hey, you guys come up to the State of the Union and I have to invite the women's

team or I'll be impeached.

It was a joke.

No malicious intent.

Ridiculous.

Okay?

Oh, you know, enough, enough.

But the women's hockey team then issued a statement and said, we're not coming to the State of the Union.

But it wasn't a rude statement. It said, we are honored to get

the invitation. We're sorry we can't come. But here's what's going on. They could go.

At least most of the women could. They don't have any events. I tracked it. They flew into Atlanta last night.
