On this Tuesday, yesterday was the federal holiday of June 10th, which celebrates the last slaves

being freed in 1865. The Union Army was sent to Galveston, Texas to make sure

emancipation orders were obeyed throughout Texas. So this is a fitting holiday now because African

Americans deserve to have their legacy known by their countrymen and many US citizens are

clueless about the debilitating aspects of slavery. As you may know, I do not believe the USA is

defined by slavery as that is simply false. It's propaganda. Also by creating an industry of African

American grievance, bitterness and hopelessness are given a major boost. Yes, it is tougher for blacks

to pursue happiness in this country, but that gap has closed dramatically across the board.

The goal of the United States should be a fair society that is respectful to all people of good will.
