On this Thursday, former Fox News personality, Pete Hegseth was brutalized by some Democratic senators this week.

President Trump has nominated Mr. Hagseth for Secretary of Defense, as you know, so the Senate must confirm him.

The vote should be closed. In the interest of fairness, let's lay

out some facts. The former Army Major fought in Iraq and Afghanistan, winning the bronze star,

so he's a brave guy. Politically, Mr. Hexseth is conservative and has publicly opposed women in

combat.

That makes him a marked man among progressives, even though he says he has changed his opinion.

Pete Hexeth has no criminal record, but apparently Senator Maisie Hirono from Hawaii believes he's committed some kind of crime beyond personal indiscretions.

The veteran did settle a case, as millions of other Americans have, for personal reasons.

There is no crime in protecting yourself and your family by using the legal system.
