On this Tuesday, the progressive left is in a conundrum because it opposes the Iran action.

Yet, that nation is vile and destructive, hard to sympathize with the mullahs.

So all criticism about the fracas is directed toward President Trump, who, for some of

the far left, is actually worse than the Iranian killers.

Mr. Trump cannot back off now from the hostilities as he would be immediately

branded a failed leader. He has to play it out with the defiant mullahs and that will cause

economic pain to us all, something many Americans are loath to accept.

As I said at the beginning of this conflict, this is the President's biggest gamble, as

the midterms loom.

Now, as a loyal American, I want to see Iran defeated.

Its reign of terror destroyed.

I feel that way under Joe Biden, or any president for that matter.

I understand the price that has to be paid for that, in goods, in spirit.

Doing the right thing in matters like this is never easy.
